All festival goers will go in the draw to win 'The Creative Hub Write Now' eight week writing course at Auckland Viaduct.
"Books, words reading and writing go together. A prize win to take a writing course of your choice will be drawn from Book Festival attendees. It is a chance for a reader to turn into a writer," says Geraldine O’Sullivan Beere, Creative Director, Waiheke Book Festival.
All attendees at the WORDS ON A SMALL ISLAND Waiheke Book Festival on the 4th to the 6th November will go into a prize draw to win a place on one of The Creative Hub's 8-week courses starting in February or March 2012. The writing course is valued at $495.
The Creative Hub provides a variety of writing courses, taught by some of New Zealand ’s leading writers and teachers of writing. Located on Auckland's beautiful Princes Wharf, we offer a stunning location in which to have fun and learn new skills.
Writing courses for February and March include the popular 'Travel Writing and Photography Course', 'Introduction to Creative Writing Course', 'The Art and Craft of Memoir', and 'Book Publishing - The Inside Story', which is led by former Penguin New Zealand publishing director Geoff Walker. To find more about these writing courses, visit the Creative Hub website.
Bookings are flowing in for the Words on a Small Island Waiheke Book Festival and we suggest those keen to attend book online now to avoid disappointment. Tickets are also available at the Waiheke Community Art Gallery.
